Karina Acosta is Researcher at Center of Regional Economic Studies (Centro de Estudios Económicos Regionales - CEER) of the Central Bank in Cartagena. Economist from Universidad del Rosario. She holds a PhD in Regional Sciences with minor in Demography from Cornell University. She was visitor at the Center of Espacial Data at the University of Chicago. Her areas of interest include regional eocnomics, economic development, espacial stadistics and population dynamics.
