Aalto University School of Business, University of Tampere and UNU-WIDER in collaboration with the Nordic Network in Development Economics will organize the 2018 Nordic Conference on Development Economics on 11-12 June 2018 in Helsinki, Finland.
The conference aims at bringing together Nordic and international scholars for the exchange of ideas and discussion of recent results within theoretical and applied development economics research. Sonia Bhalotra of the University of Essex will deliver a keynote on women legislators and a second keynote, Bretton Woods and World Bank at seventy five, will be given by Ravi Kanbur of Cornell University.
The conference will seek papers in any development economics field from researchers based in the Nordic countries and elsewhere.
The deadline for the call for papers is 18 March 2018.
