Extractive industries: taxation and revenues IV

A fourth research seminar on extractives and domestic revenue mobilisation titled Extractive Industries: Taxation and Revenues takes place on 9 December 2021 at 3pm Helsinki time (UTC +2). The online event is hosted jointly by UNU-WIDER and the Intergovernmental Forum on Mining, Minerals, Metals and Sustainable Development (IGF).

The aim of the meeting is to bring together researchers from around the world who are working on taxation and extractive industries to share information about their ongoing research and their research plans, as well as to share ideas on data, methods, and on how to achieve policy impact. 

In the aftermath of COP26, the theme of the fourth research seminar is Environmental and Carbon Taxes in the Extractive Industries. 

The 90-minute seminar is co-chaired by Tony Addison from UNU-WIDER and Thomas Lassourd and Viola Tarus from IGF.
