Extractives in development – Tony Addison addresses UN DESA

Chief Economist and Deputy Director of UNU-WIDER, Tony Addison, is giving a presentation to the staff of UN DESA, the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, in New York on 19 November.

The presentation shares findings from the UNU-WIDER research project Extractives for development, which have been published in a new book, Extractive Industries: The Management of Resources as a Driver of Sustainable Development.

The book, published by Oxford University Press, is available open access.
