Maria Jouste at the North East Universities Development Consortium
Maria Jouste, UNU-WIDER Research Associate, will present a research paper at the North East Universities Development Consortium on 6 November 2020. The virtual conference, hosted by Dartmouth College, will be held 6-7 November (EST).
The topic of Jouste's presentation is 'The effects of personal income tax reform on taxable income in Uganda'.
The conference is one of the largest development economics conferences in the world. NEUDC has organized an annual conference on development economics since 1967. The conference now boasts roughly 400 participants per year from all over the world and welcomes papers that investigate topics in economic development.
The presentation is part of the UNU-WIDER project Building up efficient and fair tax systems – lessons based on administrative tax data.
