Tony Addison at UNCTAD15 pre-event

On 23rd July, 2021, Tony Addison, Non-Resident Senior Research Fellow at UNU-WIDER, presents at UNCTAD15 pre-event 'South-South Sharing of Experiences in Macro-Financial Policies for Structural Transformation'.

The online event focuses on macroeconomic and financial policies from a comparative cross-country perspective. It aims at fostering a better understanding of the key macroeconomic and financial policy challenges that developing countries face and the extent to which China’s development strategy, trajectory and dynamics can inform partner countries’ macroeconomic and financial policy strategies. Tony Addison's presentation is titled 'Macro-financial policies in resource-based economies'. 

The 15th session of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) quadrennial ministerial conference (UNCTAD15) will be held virtually between Barbados and Geneva from 3 to 7 October 2021, with pre-conference events running online throughout the year.
