Training on statistical software Stata in Myanmar

As part of the Towards inclusive development in Myanmar programme, an introductory course to Stata and to data extraction was organised for selected staff at the Central Statistical Organization (CSO) in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar.
Six training sessions took place between October 26 and November 16, 2020 via Zoom. The course was taught by Helge Zille, PhD candidate in the Development Economics Research Group at the University of Copenhagen.
The main purpose of the course was to give a general introduction into the statistical software Stata, with a special focus on household survey data and data extraction for the creation of a Social Accounting Matrix (SAM).
