Work-in-progress meeting on tax research collaboration in Tanzania

As part of the Building up efficient and fair tax systems – lessons based on administrative tax data project, a work-in progress meeting is held in-person between UNU-WIDER and the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) in Dar es Salaam 8-12 May 2023.

The topics discussed in this meeting include the situation with the value-added tax, audit data and informal sector project work, and plans for future research projects, training, and other collaboration.

The Building up efficient and fair tax systems – lessons based on administrative tax data project is part of UNU-WIDER's programme on Domestic Revenue Mobilization (DRM). The DRM programme is financed by the Norwegian development co-operation agency Norad.
