Work-in-progress meeting on tax research collaboration in Zambia

As part of the Building up efficient and fair tax systems – lessons based on administrative tax data project, a work-in-progress meeting is held in-person between UNU-WIDER, the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) and Zambia Institute for Policy Analysis and Research (ZIPAR) in Lusaka on 14 September 2022.

The topics discussed in this meeting include the value-added tax, audit data, non-compliance and COVID-19 pandemic related research work. The plans for future research projects, trainings, and other collaboration are also discussed in the meeting.

The Building up efficient and fair tax systems – lessons based on administrative tax data project is part of UNU-WIDER's programme on Domestic Revenue Mobilization (DRM). The DRM programme is financed by the Norwegian development co-operation agency Norad.
