The topic of the XXXVIII MIT Global Change Forum is 'Environmental Change and Economic Development in Africa', and the event will be held 7-9 October 2015 at the Misty Hills Country Hotel and Conference Center in Muldersdrift, South Africa.
The Forum is held in collaboration with UNU-WIDER, MIT Joint Program, Republic of South Africa, National Treasury, Environmental Affairs, and National Planning Commission.
The MIT Global Change Forum has gained an international reputation for serious, frank, informed discussion of global climate change. The Forum meetings provide a non-official, neutral setting for analysis and discussion of science and policy aspects of global change, and for independent assessment of studies and policy proposals.
