Christopher Pillay

Christopher Wayne Pillay is a Data Scientist at UNU-WIDER and is currently working on the Southern Africa – Towards Inclusive Economic Development (SA-TIED) programme in Pretoria, South Africa. He previously worked for UNU-WIDER as a Data Consultant and supported the SA-TIED programme.

He is currently completing his Masters in Computer Science and his focus areas are deep learning and computer vision, although he does enjoy working on different types of projects that involves artificial intelligence and big data.
