Kwabena Adu-Ababio

Research Associate

Kwabena Adu-Ababio is a Research Associate at UNU-WIDER. He is a core Fiscal Space research area member within the SOUTHMOD and Tax Research for Development projects. His work focuses on tax-benefit microsimulation models for Ghana and Zambia and Tax administration and policy in Zambia. His research interests include development economics, public economics, and applied microeconomics.


He received his PhD in Economics from the University of Helsinki and has previously worked with the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER) at the University of Ghana, conducting research in experimental designs and impact evaluations in Burkina Faso, Ghana and Nigeria.
