Women and Girls in Science 2020 campaign

On 11 February the world celebrated the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. UNU-WIDER, along with other institutes across United Nations University, are taking this day of celebration a step further and will continue to celebrate women in science over the coming weeks via a social media campaign.

We will share videos, stories, and research from the women researchers across our WIDER Network and share research on gender issues. This campaign will run up to, and include, International Women’s Day on 8 March, when we will release new factsheets and content from UNU-WIDER’s newly-launched research project on women’s work.
