Training on VNMOD – a tax-benefit microsimulation for Viet Nam

The purpose of this event is to introduce participants to VNMOD, with a view to promoting its use within government for evidence-based policy-making. Training is directed to potential users of the model. As well as providing an overview of the model, the event will include a number of case studies. Attendees will leave with an understanding of how to navigate and interpret the VNMOD user interface; how to run the model; and how to build and implement a basic policy reform.

This event is part of SOUTHMOD – simulating tax and benefit policies for development project.
