Kenneth Strzepek is Professor Emeritus of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He has spent over 30 years as a researcher and practitioner at the nexus of engineering, environmental and economics systems, primarily related to water resource planning and management, river basin planning, and modelling of agricultural, environmental, and water resources systems. Professor Strzepek has worked for a range of national governments as well as the United Nations, the World Bank and the USAID.
Joyashree Roy is the inaugural Bangabandhu Chair Professor at Asian Institute of Technology. She was previously Professor of Economics at Jadavpur University, India where she initiated and coordinated the Global Change Programme and SYLFF Project. She is also an ICSSR national fellow and was Ford Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow at LBNL, Berkeley, USA. She is among the IPCC-2007 Nobel Peace Prize winning panel and in the Prince Sultan Bin Aziz award winning team for water.
Yohannes Gebretsadik has participated in large-scale research projects since 2003. His focus is mainly within the Nile Basin, in areas of flood protection and early warning, transboundary joint multipurpose projects, irrigation and drainage, watershed management, Basin wide Hydrologic Studies, and development of planning and decision support tools. He specializes in analysis involving Hydrologic and Water resources systems modelling.
Channing Arndt is Director of the Environment and Production Technology Division at the International Food Policy Research Institute. He has 25 years of experience in development economics with seven years combined resident experience in Morocco and Mozambique. He has an established reputation for effectively building institutional capacity in Mozambique, South Africa, Morocco, Vietnam and within the framework of the African Economic Research Consortium.
