Stata introduction course for revenue authorities

An online Stata introduction course was provided to 38 participants, representing researchers and tax experts at the revenue authorities and research institutes in Zambia and Tanzania.

Stata is a software for statistics and data science. The aim of the online course was to provide a basic knowhow on the software. The basic course will be followed by an online Stata intermediate course tailor-made for the participants.

The online training was part of UNU-WIDER's Building up efficient and fair tax systems – lessons based on administrative tax data project. The project is part of UNU-WIDER's programme on Domestic Revenue Mobilization (DRM). The DRM programme is financed by the Norwegian development co-operation agency Norad.
