Think WIDER Webinar Series – New perspectives on domestic revenue mobilization

A new webinar series aims to facilitate a discussion on how domestic revenue mobilization can be supported in the Global South. 

New perspectives on domestic revenue mobilization will feature distinguished researchers and leading development specialists. The series is aimed for policy and development cooperation professionals as well as researchers who are interested in hearing the latest insights from UNU-WIDER’s Domestic Revenue Mobilization (DRM) programme. The programme seeks to help improve developing countries’ tax systems and to strengthen their domestic capacities for revenue collection. 

The monthly webinars cover a range of topics related to the development of tax systems, non-tax domestic revenue mobilization, and political institutions. Each session includes a short presentation and a panel discussion.
