Inclusive growth in Mozambique – scaling-up research and capacityTheme: Transformation
Join us for the 2020 annual conference of the Inclusive growth in Mozambique — scaling up research and capacity programme, which will take place online on 2-6 November.
The event will bring together leading researchers, academics, and development practitioners from across the world to discuss how to achieve truly inclusive growth and development. Participants will share policy-relevant findings, discuss the challenges faced in low-income countries, and exchange views and best practices on policy issues that affect economic development.
Across a series of thematic seminar sessions, the programme will feature presentations on over 40 research papers as well as special sessions on COVID-19, the Mozambican economy, and Mozambican institutions. Topics covered will include poverty and inequality, structural transformations, institutions and governance, education and the labour market, the private sector and employment, gender, climate change, and agriculture.
The Inclusive growth in Mozambique – scaling up research and capacity programme is implemented jointly by the Directorate of Economic and Development Policies of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Mozambique, the Centre for Economic and Management Studies at the University of Eduardo Mondlane, the Development Economics Research Group of the University of Copenhagen, and UNU-WIDER.
