Labour market inequality and intergenerational mobility

UNU-WIDER hosts an inception workshop on labour market inequality and intergenerational mobility part of the new inequality theme as part of our current 2024–27 work programme. On 16 April 2024, we host a collaborative brainstorming session that explores new research avenues focusing on gender, race, and informality within labour markets, and share the latest findings with the academic community. 

This workshop offers a unique opportunity for participants to engage in insightful discussions, network with experts from around the globe, and contribute to shaping future research agendas that aim to tackle labour market inequalities and enhance intergenerational mobility. This event is part of UNU-WIDER's commitment to fostering sustainable and inclusive growth in Global South economies.
