UNU-WIDER researchers participate in FIT PhD course and Trans-Atlantic Public Economics Seminar


From 10-14 June 2024, UNU-WIDER researchers participate in a PhD course on tax and transfer systems in Helsinki. It is co-sponsored by National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), VATT Institute for Economic Research (VATT), Finnish Centre of Excellence in Tax Systems Research with additional support from Yrjö Jahnsson Foundation and Palkansaajasäätiö.

Professors Emmanual Saez (University of California, Berkeley) and Joel Slemrod (University of Michigan, Ann Arbor) will deliver lectures during the course. Lecturers also include faculty members from UCFS and FIT.
