Anna Zasova
Research Associate
Anna Zasova is a Research Associate at UNU-WIDER, working on the SOUTHMOD project. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Latvia.
Her research interests include public and labor economics, with a focus on labor taxation, tax evasion, and social policies. Anna's recent research has focused on the interplay between policies and tax evasion in Latvia. She has also been a member of the EUROMOD national team for Latvia, contributing to model maintenance and working on its policy applications. Anna has extensive experience working with large administrative datasets.
